About Giclée Printing."Giclée (pronounced 'Gee Clay'), from the French verb meaning 'to squirt'"
This is a new form of fine art reproduction that allows stunning pieces of original fine artwork to be produced.
The Giclée printing process involves spraying microscopic dots of archival quality ink on acid free, 100% cotton paper. The image permanence of Giclée prints is very stable giving both fade and colour shift resistance for a minimum of 75 years under correct display and storage conditions.
With the advent of giclée, the art of reproducing fine art has become even more precise. Giclée's have the highest apparent resolution available today. Since no screens are used, the prints have a higher resolution than lithographs and an extensive colour range. This full colour spectrum means that they can capture every nuance of an original and as such have gained worldwide acceptance from artists and galleries alike.
