'Time To Live' 'Portrait of a Pit Pony.' Blackie toiled all his life in the small private coal mines of Wales including Carn Cornel Colliery until his retirement in December 1998. It will be a large grassland farm with a good range of warm, dry buildings for old bones on cold winter nights. It will have a stream babbling over rocks where ponies can drink long and cool from on warm summer days. It will have large mature trees to shelter from the hot summer sun.
